"3000 Club" Free Throw Challenge 

Recognizing dedicated players for their extra efforts

Coach Barkowski introduced the '3000-Club Free Throw Challenge' to his players in 2000.  It is simple!!!  Players record the results of a minimum of 3000 off-season practice free throw attempts (~3200 total free throws per form) and turn in their forms by the beginning of the season each November to become members of the club.  It is no surprise that since starting the annual challenge, nearly 90% of the Lady Spartan Free Throw Leaders (Records) participated in the challenge.
