Congratulations, Ariel!

Congratulations to Ariel Schroeder on winning the student award at the 19th Annual Research Day of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians in Bedford. Ariel is the first high school student to ever present at the PAFP Research Day. She plans to submit her paper for consideration to the Journal of the American Medical Association later this month.
St. Joseph High School
named an Organization of the Year by the Catholic Education Foundation

at the Catholic Education Foundation Gala Banquet
On March 23, St. Joseph High School was honored as
an Organization of the Year by the Catholic Education Foundation. Five
organizations from the Diocese of Pittsburgh were honored: the Catholic high
schools named to the Catholic Honor Roll from the Diocese of Pittsburgh, the
Crossroads Foundation, the Extra Mile Education Foundation, the Golden Apple
Program, and the Saint Anthony School Program.
The Most Reverend Donald W. Wuerl, Archbishop of
Washington, DC was inducted into the Catholic Education Foundation's Hall of
Fame, a special honor reserved for those individuals who have dedicated their
lives to Catholic education. Archbishop Wuerl was also the recipient of
the Catholic Education Foundation's first Lifetime Achievement Award.
Beverly K. Kaniecki, Principal, and Cathy Greco,
Golden Apple Award Teacher, represented St. Joseph High School at the gala
banquet at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC.
