Part-Time Social Studies Substitute

Saint Joseph High School (Natrona Heights) seeks a long-term substitute for a part-time history teacher this second semester. The ideal candidate must be committed to developing students’ understanding of World History, grade 9. Competitive candidates must hold a current Pennsylvania certificate (Social Studies 7-12). Prior teaching experience at the secondary level is strongly preferred. Competitive candidates must demonstrate content expertise, knowledge in differentiated instruction, assessments, and technology. Current clearances are required to work within a Catholic school in the Diocese of Pittsburgh.

The Director of Institutional Advancement is the school’s lead development and advancement officer, reporting directly to the Principal. The director provides strategic direction and management for the development and implementation of comprehensive advancement, marketing, and enrollment efforts with short and long-range goals and objectives. The director is responsible for securing the financial resources necessary to sustain the school’s mission by focusing on major gifts, grant acquisitions, capital and annual fundraising, communications and events, and alumni relations.

Full Time Mathematics Teacher

Saint Joseph High School seeks a full-time Mathematics Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Primary responsibilities include teaching AP Calculus AB/BC, Pre-Calculus, College Algebra and Statistics. Competitive candidates must hold a current Pennsylvania certificate (Mathematics 7-12). A bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education is required, a Master's degree is preferred. Ideal candidates will have at least three to five years of secondary school experience as a teacher. As a Catholic high school, it is essential that the ideal candidate demonstrates a willingness and commitment to participate fully in community beyond the classroom, supporting the mission, philosophy and Catholic values of our school.
