Students Receive Full Scholarship to attend the University of Notre Dame

Saint Joseph High School rising Juniors, Mary Huth and Louisa Palumbo, have been granted admission to the University of Notre Dame's 2025 Summer Scholars Program.  Mary will be taking the Restorative Justice Class and Louisa in Public Speaking and Debate.  Both students received a full scholarship to attend the program.  Louisa was also invited to stay for a second program, the University of Notre Dame McGrath Institute Vision Program for young Catholic Leaders.

Summer Scholars participants spend two intensive weeks on Notre Dame's campus taking a challenging college-level course taught by Notre Dame faculty. The classes are small and the personal attention from Notre Dame faculty high.  Students will meet peers from around the country and the world who will challenge and inspire them, and they will have the unique opportunity to broaden their understanding of major global issues as learn from professors who are experts in their fields.  Students could earn one transferable college credit upon the completion of a program track.
