Campus Ministry

Welcome to Saint Joseph High School Campus Ministry!
My name is Mr. Dominic Oto, and I am the Director of Campus Ministry at Saint Joseph High School! I am a 2024 graduate of Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and a Minor in Communication and Public Relations. As the Campus Minister, it is my mission to accompany students as they grow in faith, community, and devotion through the richness of the Catholic tradition. SJHS Campus Ministry is rooted in prayer and has laid a foundation in the sacraments, which helps students encounter Christ in their daily lives.

Whether a student is deepening their faith, rediscovering it, or exploring it for the first time, as the Campus Minister, I am here to provide a welcoming presence and pastoral support to each student. With compassion and understanding, I will walk with your students through both the joys and challenges of high school life, helping them discern God’s call and live out their faith unapologetically with courage and joy.

Mr. Dom Oto
Director of Campus Ministry

In Campus Ministry, SJHS students have the opportunity to explore their horizon line and to discover the life God has given them. Campus Ministry is the beating heart of our School’s pillars of Sanctity, Justice, Honor, and Scholarship.

Campus Ministry helps students:
● Deepen their relationship with God – learning to pray, reflect, and trust that Christ walks with them in every moment of life.
● Live their Catholic identity – discovering the beauty of the Church’s teachings and what it means to live with integrity, compassion, and joy.
● Build community – finding belonging and brotherhood/sisterhood in a faith-filled environment where everyone is welcomed and known by name.
● Lead and serve – growing as servant leaders who use their gifts to make a difference through outreach, retreats, and service opportunities.
● Discern their calling – listening for how God is inviting them to use their lives for His greater glory, both now and in the future.
● Walk with hope – learning to trust God’s plan, especially through challenges, and to see His presence in everyday life.

Campus Ministry invites every student to encounter Christ in a personal way — and to let that encounter transform their hearts, their friendships, and their world.
